Did you guys check out Mission 8 Minutes, “Source Code,” in awesome Japan this past weekend?
Check out this link:
Japanese version of the film! :-)) sugoi!
We’re in Japan and despite the jetlag, its been a wonderful day. Though the rain just found its way to our side of the city -_-…. our new friends have left sunshine with us.
Just wanted to check in and say, “greetings from Japan.” Will blog tomorrow about all the fun happenings here thus far. We don’t have long, but have managed to schedule a lot of amazing interviews. “Mission 8 Mins” in a theater soon!
Keep your fingers crossed that the typhoon decides NOT to show up anytime soon, or we’ll be temporary residents of Japan.
Happy jetlaggin’ from Rodene & D.

Just for those who don’t know, and it if it isn’t obvious, this is a BLOG dedicated to the filmmaker Duncan Jones, my boyfriend, and the traveling we’ve done together specifically for his second film, “Source Code”…actually, its a blog that I started to share with those interested in the press & traveling we’ve been doing together.
So if you’re wondering why this isn’t about anything else, then there you have it.
Aw…remembering the Cinema Society and Coach Screening in New York. It was such a lovely evening with good company with such good vibes.
Have you guys been spreading the word? I know its still playing in theaters, so you have no excuse! ;)
SOURCE CODE! Go SEE it if you haven’t already!!
HOLA. We’re in Spain, we actually made it here. After that CRAZY plane ride, thought we’d end up in the middle of the ocean somewhere. That plane ride was like being in the middle an earthquake, inside a fault.
Yes, it was shaky.
So, after a quick drive and wander through the city, I haven’t seen any Source Code billboards, or anything, and actually, I haven’t seen ANY film billboards. I also haven’t seen a Mcdonalds or Starbucks, SHOCKING, since everywhere else we’ve been, they’re on every block. Good thing I brought over a ton of snacks! Most of our time is in our hotel, so most of our dinners are from in room dining, but I tell ya, ain’t nothing like a New York pizza. And to come from NY to Madrid to have pizza, wrong choice. On my defense, I didn’t know what else to order, 1. I don’t speak Spanish, 2. I don’t eat meat. AND boy was I wrong to order pizza from here, it was like a steam roller had its way with a block of cheese. Someone from NY needs to come out here and show Madrid what PIZZA could be. :)
Still hungry, and channel surfing, no ads on Source Code on the t.v. either. Its strange because everywhere we’ve been in the U.S. has been infected with the Source Code bug. Outside, inside, sideways, all things Source Code, but out here so far, nothing. Tomorrow is going to be the start of big press junket days, so we’ll see what happens then. Duncan and Jake will both be working the junkets, don’t think there are any q & a’s lined up, but let’s send over positive vibes that things go well.
What time is it? We’ve lost all sense of time. Its almost midnight here in Spain, but I’m still on Hawaii time. :) Doesn’t get dark in Spain til waaay later, so we’re completely confused. Don’t really have the energy and Spanish skills to explore, so indoors on the Ipad 2 it is! Need to catch up on sleep.
Hope everyone has been enjoying all the fun interviews, q & as, and showings, so much hard work was put into this film from beginning to end…this has been R-O-D-E-N-E, coming to you from Spain of all places, stay classy, spread the word, over n’ out.
